Five tabs

What’s in the app.

Overview

Where things stand.

What stage you’re at, how many days until exchange, and what’s waiting on you.

Mail

One inbox for your move.

Your purchase gets its own email address. Your solicitor, agent and broker email it as normal, and every message is filed for you.

Actions

Who’s waiting on whom.

Every task, who has it and when it’s due. Yours, other people’s, and what’s done.

Documents

Documents, explained.

Searches, the property information form, the mortgage offer: each filed with a plain-English summary and the page each fact came from.

Chain

See the whole chain.

Everyone above and below you in the chain, and who has gone quiet. Check in with them and keep a record of the reply.

Payment fraud

Check before you pay.

Fraudsters target buyers with fake emails asking them to pay into a different account. Chainkeep keeps the bank details you’ve checked by phone, flags any message that doesn’t match, and holds emails from senders you haven’t approved.

Three rules for sending money
  1. Check bank details by phone, earlyUse the number on their website or letterhead, never one from an email.
  2. Bank details don’t change mid-moveIf an email says they have, treat it as fraud until you’ve called the number you know.
  3. Send a small amount firstCall to confirm it arrived, then send the rest. Don’t let anyone rush you.

Chainkeep never moves money. You make the transfer yourself.

After you move in

The keys are only the start.

When you complete, your purchase becomes your home’s record, with the searches, surveys and warranties already filed. From then on it keeps track of bills, insurance and repairs, shared with the people you live with.

Early access

Join the early access list.

We’re letting in a small number of homes in England at a time. Tell us about yours and we’ll email you when there’s a place.

  • Free during early accessNo card needed.
  • Talk to the teamTell us what’s missing. We read everything.
  • Help shape the appWe decide what to build next from what early users tell us.

Early access is for homeowners and people moving in England. If you’re elsewhere, you can still register your interest.

Which best describes you?

Access contact. We’ll email you when a place is available and, if you take it, about the service itself. That’s the only reason we keep your address.

Joining the list does not create an account. See our privacy notice for how we handle and retain these details.

Questions

Does my solicitor need to use Chainkeep?

No. They carry on using email. They write to your purchase’s own address, or you forward what they send.

Does it replace my solicitor or broker?

No. It keeps your purchase organised. Your solicitor, surveyor and broker still do their jobs and give their advice.

Can Chainkeep pay my deposit?

No. Money never goes through Chainkeep. It keeps the bank details you checked and warns you when a message doesn’t match them.

I’m selling. Is it for me too?

Yes. A sale gets the same inbox, documents, tasks and chain view as a purchase.

Do I need to connect my email?

No. Only what’s sent or forwarded to your purchase’s own address is read.

What does it cost?

Nothing during early access. There’s no pricing yet. If that changes, people on the list hear first.
